Marylou Gill Fierro

For more than 30 years, Marylou Gill Fierro served as in-house counsel for insurance
and financial services companies, including 28 years with one of the nation’s leading
insurance and financial services companies. During her career, she has provided
high-quality, efficient and practical legal advice in all aspects of group and individual
long-term care insurance, health insurance, and property and casualty insurance.

Ms. Gill Fierro has extensive experience with contract drafting and negotiation,
federal contracting, regulatory drafting and compliance, mergers and acquisitions,
insurance product development and pricing, and marketing, sales, underwriting, and
claim matters. The breadth of her responsibilities spanned all levels of management,
ranging from counseling customer service representatives to serving on the board
of directors.

She has been recognized for her ability to explain complex subject matter in
easy-to-understand text and for her successful negotiations on behalf of her clients.
